A longer rod is especially useful if you want to fish through vegetation.
For fishing with a float on carp, a reel of the 2500-5000 class is sufficient, and the most important thing is that the drag works well. A nylon main line with a thickness between 22/00 and 30/00 is placed on the spool. The thickness of the line depends on the fishing spot. When fishing over an area with a lot of snags, choose a thicker main line. Nylon is chosen because this line is more elastic, which ensures that you can handle stronger fish well.
The mount for float fishing is quite simple. The only things needed are: a float, caps, spools and a size 6 to 10 carp hook.
