The Shimano Beastmaster K Surf Tubular is a beachcaster rod for sport anglers who prioritize maximum casting distance and control. This version is ideally suited to situations where distance and power are more important than subtle bite detection, such as in rougher conditions or when fishing with heavy rigs. The full carbon tubular tip provides a stiffer, more direct action than a hybrid tip. This allows the rod to build up more tension during the cast, resulting in tight and powerful casts with leads up to 225 grams. The fast action makes the rod stable and predictable, even under maximum load. The High Modulus Full Carbon blank offers an excellent balance between power and control and remains crisp during both casting and playing fish. The 3-piece construction combines performance with practical transport convenience. The Fuji Low Rider guides are positioned low and optimized for use with braided line, ensuring controlled and stable line flow during powerful casts. The Shimano DPS reel seat secures the reel firmly and reliably, even during intensive use on the coast.
