Carp rods

Carp rods

There are carp rods in all shapes and sizes, depending on the type of fishing you want to do. Are you going to fish actively with a float? Then you obviously choose a different rod than when your rods are on your rodpod with more than 100 metres of line out. It is therefore important that you have a clear idea of what you want to use the rod for, as each carp rod has different characteristics. This explains why there are so many different carp rods on the market. Apart from your personal preference and the location where you fish, the fishing determines which carp rod you need.

Carp rod with reel

In recent years, there have been many developments in carp rods on the market. Rods are becoming thinner and lighter, the distribution of the rod eyes has been optimised and, for example, extra-large rod eyes are being used to make it easier to cast far and fast. Of course, the rod is worth nothing without a carp reel. The reel you choose depends on the type of fishing you do. Do you fish a lot on small waters and do you like to fish actively? Then you need a smaller, lighter reel. As you can imagine, it's different when you're fishing a long distance on a large lake, for example.

Carp rod set

A carp rod set consists of everything you need to fish for carp. Often, such sets are composed for static fishing for carp. A set consists of two or three rods including reels, line, a rod pod, bite alarms, backstops and so on. With these sets, you buy everything at once and then you can go to the bank. It's nice that you don't have to think about whether you have everything complete and whether the parts fit together. This has been thought about by a team of fanatic carp anglers.
