This Spro C-Tec Solid Fuel Hand Warmer works on carbon sticks. With a lighter, you heat the end of a rod until it glows. Of course, it helps to blow occasionally. When the end glows properly, place the stick in the hand warmer and close it. That way you have a warm box with you for hours to warm your hands.

You can also heat both ends of the rod. This will make your Spro C-Tec Solid Fuel Hand Warmer extra warm. The rod will of course last less long.

A hand warmer like this Spro C-Tec Solid Fuel Hand Warmer is really indispensable during long sessions in cold weather!
