Spro Specter Spin Reel

Following on from the successful Specter predatory fishing rods, Spro has released the Specter spinning reels that seamlessly match the rods in terms of features and design. Thus, the Specter spinning reels are lightweight thanks to a combination of a full aluminum reel body with a lightweight carbon rotor. Besides the fact that these materials are lighter in weight, it also has the great technical advantage that it makes the reel a lot stiffer, transmits better registration in the rod and optimizes the operation of the drag under high pressure. All Specter spinning reels have a ratio of 5.2:1 that combines smooth and light rotation with enough power to fish with lures comfortably all day long. The reels have 8 stainless steel ball bearings and a stainless steel main shaft with all rotating parts treated with a high quality “all season” grease. This allows the Specter spinning reels to run smoothly, regardless of the temperature outside. Finished with a gold-colored screw-in CNC aluminum reeled crank that features a lightweight and comfortable EVA grip.
