Belachan is a flavour that comes from Malaysia. It is fermented shrimp and has proven to be a very effective attractor for in carp fishing. It has a salty, fishy taste and a sharp crustacean aroma that acts as a strong natural flavour label and a powerful natural appetite stimulator. Belachan blocks are like large bouillon cubes and are excellent for making pasta baits or for grating into boilie mixes, bag mixes or boilie particles to give that little extra!
