The Illex Momouse is a unique mini wakebait designed in collaboration with Pro Staffer Morgan Calu. This lure imitates a small mouse swimming across the surface of the water, perfect for luring predatory fish in shallow or obstacle-rich water. The soft, agile tail and wobbling action create realistic vibrations and a distinctive wake on the surface of the water.
This floating mouse imitation is ideal for slow entry fishing just below the surface, but can also be fished faster to elicit a fierce response from followers. Suitable for targeting perch, pike, trout, black bass and windfish – especially in areas where natural baitfish such as mice or frogs enter the water. Perfect for use from shore or boat, especially in hard-to-reach areas such as small streams, obstacle-rich areas or along reed beds.
