Shimano Catana DX Stalking Lite Stalking Rod

The Catana Trolling Lite is made of Full Carbon, which is why the blank feels so slim and is lightweight and responsive. In the lighter power classes, the semi-parabolic action is great fun to use, while the stronger models have enough power for medium-sized pelagic species. Interestingly, the Seaguide Stainless Steel guide eyes are placed “spirally” on the blank. This configuration, which is strikingly different from a traditional guide eye arrangement, guides the line from the top of the rod at the base eye to the bottom of the rod through the playing area. This provides better line flow and a more clean action while playing the fish. A lightweight aluminum reel holder completes the EVA front handle and provides maximum comfort and safety while battling big fish. The all-carbon blank is remarkably slim, highly responsive and has a great semi-parabolic action that is perfect for using light lines.
