When fishing shads and twitchbaits, bite registration and setting the hook is extremely important. This rod passes every tentative take perfectly into the handle and in addition, the rod has enough backbone to set the hook properly. Very ergonomically designed and enormously durable, so you can cast medium to large lures in the right place for years.
