The KR1LL Wafter from MTC Baits is specially designed to enable advanced rig presentations. Mount a wafter on the hair and let the weight of the hook do its work to get the wafter in a balanced position. Wafters are lighter than boilies – but heavier than pop-ups – and sink on the weight of the hook or by their own weight.
Because wafters are lighter in weight than lined boilies, they allow themselves to be sucked in faster. Pressed carp that are suspiciously baiting will (unintentionally) suck up such a hookbait faster and thus get hooked faster. Very suitable for use on the most difficult waters where a high form of dressage is present. By lifting the weight of the hook the hooking efficiency of rigs improves by leaps and bounds. The wafters are coated with egg albumin to ensure they stay on the hair and have a structure that allows easy and long release of the triggers.
