The Jaeger Carolina Rig is fully assembled and ready to fish with. Just tie on your main line and you’re done. The Japanese hook is extra strong, ultra-sharp and robust. In addition, Jaeger has used abrasion-resistant fluorocarbon and a fast-sinking, eco-friendly tungsten weight. Each C-rig is handmade to ensure high quality knots.

When it comes to perch fishing, especially in the winter for big perch, the Carolina Rig is unbeatable. A softbait (for example, a creature bait or worm) is usually set on an offset hook on a fluorocarbon leader. The light weight of a bait on the C-rig gives the lure a very lifelike action. In addition, the free sliding weight and bead create the unmistakable “clicking sound” of a crustacean. Dragging slowly across the bottom, this technique is great!
