This Penn Spinfisher VI Live Liner is equipped with a Baitrunner free spool system. The reel has an IPX5 sealing which makes it very waterproof. Not only can you use these reels in the surf, you can also clean them with a large jet of water without having to remove salt and sand between the gears. The Spinfisher VI has a closed, fully lubricated 5+1 system with stainless steel ball bearings. The drag rings are of the famous HT100 carbon version. The Gear system is fully CNC manufactured. This combined with the metal housing results in a reel that still functions well even under very heavy loads.
