The all-new Vanford is designed to become the ultimate spinning reel. This reel replaces the iconic Stradic Ci4+ and is equipped with a series of technological upgrades that distinguish the Vanford. Still based on a lightweight Ci4+ body construction, the new MGL rotor makes the mill 48% lighter to rotate compared to a standard rotor design. Micromodule Gear II and Silent Drive can be seen in the new Vanford. X-Protect offers high water resistance without sacrificing light equipment and rotor rotation. By incorporating the new “Long Stroke” Spool design, casting performance has also been improved.
