To complete our range, we were actually missing one small type of swivel—well, here it is: the Size 11 Flexi-Ring Swivel. This is the swivel for the Hinged Stiff Rig. The rig was designed by Terry Hearn and is regarded as the Big Fish rig. This exceptional rig is fished with a pop-up over a small amount of bait. To tie this rig, you can use Korda’s Wide Gap hooks and a small rig ring. After tying, tighten the entire hooklink. This is best done in combination with steam. This ensures the hooklink becomes even straighter and that the hook stands upright instead of pointing inward.

The Size 11 Flexi-Ring Swivel is also perfectly suited for the new 360-degree Rig. This rig is also fished with a pop-up and is almost impossible for carp to eject. Dave Lane has used this rig with great success. All in all, a highly reliable swivel that will not let you down, even under extreme conditions.
