Rozemeijer Pike Strike Giant Paddle Shad 23cm (98g)

Team Rozemeijer knows the power of a good shad and decided some years ago to introduce an all-rounder to the market. A shad with a length that would be suitable for both the polder angler and the pike-perch angler on bigger waters. The (small) Paddle was born. And actually they felt the need for a big Paddle as well, for the big water predators.

With this in mind came the first drawings and a few months later the prototypes were on the mat. And then… this big, bulky brother came, who knows how to seduce the big water predators. Not only were six centimetres added in length, but the size also increased quite a bit. This resulted in a shad of 23cm and a weight of 98 grams. At the sight of this shad, Rozemeijer knew immediately that it was a winner!

The Giant Paddle can be fished in many ways. In the summer, when there are a lot of plants, a shallow screw is a good option. The Giant Paddle is sold with the shallow screw already inside the shad, so there is no need to buy one. Just like many other shads you need to make your own stinger. We recommend the 50lbs coated wire from Rozemeijer (sleeve size 1.8) and two trebles in size 2/0 (Gamakatsu 13B type).

If you want to fish the Giant Paddle a little deeper, you can of course use jigheads of different weights. Rozemeijer recommends 15 grams for casting and 25 grams for trolling. Here again the preference is for screw jigheads and not the traditional jighead with a jig hook.
